SPOGOMI has a strong environmental, social and educational impact.
It was organized for the 1st time in Morocco in 2023 thanks to Bahri Association which saw the Moroccan national team take part in the 1st Spogomi World Cup in Japan on October 2023, where Morocco finished 5th out of 21 participating countries.
For the 2nd edition of the Nippon Foundation Spogomi World Cup 2025 Morocco qualifier, 30 teams of 3 people per team, with 1 jury, will take part in a 2-hour waste collection and sorting competition within a 1.5 km radius, including the beach and corniche.
The winning team of the Nippon Foundation Spogomi World Cup 2025 Morocco qualifier will participate in the 2nd edition of the Nippon Foundation Spogomi World Cup 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
The Nippon Foundation Spogomi World Cup 2025 Morocco qualifier will be held in Ain Diab Beach, Casablanca on Saturday 28 June 2025.
